A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die.

Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.

Usually teach Lord of the Flies at the end of the year but decided to move it up to February because, yeah, I dunno, felt like a good time to explore fascism and masculinity as brutality.

Electronic healthcare records? In Wales? 😐 the app is pretty good, it doesn't mention anything pre-app annoyingly because nothing else is online to get that from, but any step closer is a win.

"Is this your first baby?" - everyone in maternity service asked.

No, actually, I have a son, and lost babies who I never got to meet, but thanks for that.

Electronic medical records should be the norm across Wales.

As part of Mind’s Big Mental Health Report for 2025 we’re asking adults about their experiences of support through primary care.

Please consider completing and sharing the survey as it would be great to get a good sample from WalesπŸ‘‡πŸ»

Patient pathways waiting to start treatment by month, grouped weeks and treatment function, January 2018 onwards

Welsh health stats out. And still going up. 802k in wales now.
It’s a hard slog as we head into winter period for those on the ground.
A lot of silly political stuff this year. 3 first ministers. 2 health ministers and outcomes not improving (25 yrs)

I'm an intelligent person who juggles a job, parenting, pregnancy, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and my hobbies.

I also, without fail, rub my eyes after chopping chilli at least once a week.

Pre-24 week loss is the only type of loss excluded from bereavement leave laws - this needs to change. #TheMiscarriageAssociation is calling for urgent changes to the Employment Rights Bill. #LeaveForEveryLoss

My mother’s MS has shaped my view on assisted dying From a position of health it’s easy to say we’d take the quick route. But real life isn’t like that

Many fine things have been written (on both sides) about assisted dying - a subject upon which I feel very conflicted - but I think Hugo’s column today is the finest I’ve read.

My son has been inpatient at the grange 3 times, and myself twice. Everything has been brilliant, but having views to feel like you're somewhere else less worrying. For everyone's moaning, it's by far the best hospital I've stepped foot in.

There's one by me who told two people - myself included - all was well. Both of us should've seen heartbeats, weren't told otherwise or advised to contact EPU. We obviously didn't have viable pregnancies. Predatory, definitely.

If I were in America, I could've easily been another name in an article like this. I wanted my babies - but I needed abortion as healthcare. This is cruel, disgusting behaviour
