a person with advanced autism can indeed be taught and learn to respect others, but the mindset of parents where i live is that just because their child is autistic, they can do whatever they want, and that's not how it works, that's the crux of the problem

btw unfortunately, a friend of mine was harassed by a boy who has autism (i believe it was level 2), and every time my friend asked him to stop, he blamed it on the autism… in other words, anything he does wrong, he blames on autism so that other people will forgive him 😭

besides, the basics of education are something parents don't even provide for these children just because they're in level 3. and that's not how it works; these children need to be taught the basics so they can live in society.

i am aware that people with level 3 autism are difficult to manage and teach, therefore, special education needs to be provided. but as i said before, the school has no structure whatsoever to accommodate these children.

caring for children with level 3 autism is extremely complex… the school lacks the infrastructure to provide a good quality education for these children. besides, the family itself is also to blame; the parents don't set limits for the child, and they thinks they can do whatever they wants…
