With the arrival of December came our second snowfall of the season here at Hilton Pond North in upper Ashe County NC. We’re in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, almost on the Virginia border and 30 miles north of Boone NC. Bird are quite active at our feeders; five Dark-eyed Juncos right now.
