Granted, 14 Int isn't the biggest ask in the world, but it's still possibly half a dozen levels on the brawnier origins.

She may not have the stats for it, depending on how she's built her character so far – even if she did the stuff in Duskroot Basin to buy it, Cast Light has a requirement of 14 Int. At least Dusk also sells the "Catalyst That Does Not Scale" if she wants to chuck Soul Arrows at crap.

I can't speak for the comparison - haven't read Wicked since High School and never saw it - but hard agree on DS1 being considerably weaker post-Anor Londo. Even just looking at the bosses, I only really remember the Shit-bed of Fuck-ass, Sif, and Gwyn. Oh, and being annoyed cutting Seath's tail.

For the record, I still don't know if I ever want to return to the US on a more permanent basis – the government's still mercurial and corrupt enough that I don't trust it to have the citizenry's best interests in mind. But visits? Absolutely a possibility. And if I must return, I will.
