I've been playing this part again this week, for the first time in front of an ultrawide (21:9) monitor and resolution, and it's quite immersive that way.
It's worth it, good contents inside. But I also felt the pain when opening it ;)
It probably won't work well on fmsx. Openmsx got a much needed interface update a while back, you might want to give it another try.
www.msx.org/news/en/kona... This book is really good, but as you can read from the last post in the linked thread, Bitmap Books wasn't interested. It might still be available on Amazon.
anyway, it can be turned off completely.
yeah, once you get the hang of it it's basically a cheat mode (you hardly ever miss anymore)
Isn't this one blown out of proportion? people are going to use tools. It's not as if they recreated Shinkiro art with AI, that would be rather bad.
Another fun fact: the original ACA NeoGeo series was in fact on pc, but in the Windows store. ;)
ZOE fist of mars... ok, while the battles could be exploited easily, making it too easy, the story was just great.
I don't know what hamster corp's deal with snk is, admittedly, but is it that different? Also, yeah, I agree that the current owner of SNK is involved with some very shady things, proven or not. Should we boycott snk because of it? I can't say, really, but it's good to be aware at least.
Code mystics made this release, not snk.
So we have this and at the same time aca2 neogeo on consoles?
then windows 95 came around and despite crashing all the time it was a super hit. I do remember though that around that time it was considered normal for a pc to crash.
I couldn't get Ridge Racer on PC, so I got this. It was (and still is) awesome.

Semi-related, I finally dumped my ps1/2 memorycards to PC last year so I can use these old saves on an emulator.
Because after a day of airing books and sweeping the shrine, you want to play some Space Harrier or Hang-On.
If you like Konami, the Yie Ar Kung-Fu saga, and yakisoba, in Maiden's Extreme Fist BUN-GA-RUA you have the best exponent of punches and noodles from the hand of @ipheion78. Go ahead and make your reservation at www.gsrun.es.

I like SD Snatcher better, but MG2 is very good. I was in fact not that impressed my Metal Gear Solid because it was largely a copy of MG2, only in 3D.
I did not know of these. Very interesting!
Just for fun...
Are you team Shenhua or team Nozomi? Hopefully she's not watching! 🙈

While I had seen anime before it and really knew the art style well as I grew up with MSX, anime only really clicked with me when I first saw Love Hina in the early 2k's.
I'm surprised they kept this service around for so long. I loved it in the xbox 360 days, but it has long been surpassed by competitors.
Who is this? ..oh! ;)

Doesn't the nds use this sound when you boot a gba game on it? Or am I remembering it wrong?
This game has a stunning cyberpunk intro and good music as well (even if "just" OPN). The plot though, let's just say it's not Snatcher ;)
Dx-ball has a lot of "dynamite" blocks, so there are a lot of chain reactions which can make clearing levels quite quick and satisfying. In that sense it's more like pacman ce dx. Well, they both have dx in the name for a reason, I guess ;)
