I'm running a Night's Black Agents game by @pelgranepress.bsky.social and @kennethhite.bsky.social because of a Request!
My GB color won't even turn on. I think I need to replace the battery contacts π
I 10000% agree with this statement.
Cam, you are awesome!
1D4Con 2026 Game Submissions are now open. Check out this newsletter for guidelines and perks:

As far as PC choices, Spider-man is an obvious choice, but I'm thinking of other New Yorkers that are under Rank 4 to accompany him. Maybe DareDevil, Misty Knight, Iron Fist, Luke Cage...
Who do you think would be a good PC option against the Sinister Six?
Doc Ock, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Sandman, and Vulture
The hardest part is how to make it challenging when Spider-Man defeated them all by himself. I could double up villains or add henchmen.
With Game Submissions opening for @1d4con.bsky.social on Saturday February 7th, I'm looking at possible games to run.
Currently, I'm working on a custom adventure for Marvel Multiverse RPG involving the Sinister Six. Most likely the original ensemble of the villain group.
Loved it! It was wonderful and Skid killed it with his Cage impression.
We didn't have a lot of time, so they only completed the part that leads up to them transported to the Murderworld.
They had a really great time and I look forward to more sessions.
Started a new game of Marvel Multiverse RPG with my kids (one 12 yo and two 10 yo).
Running "The Murderworld that Time Forgot" scenario.
The characters are Daredevil (Rank 3), Tigra (Rank 3 from Kang the Conquerer campaign/source book), and Red Goblin (Rank 3 from the Spiderverse expansion book)
Today my girls turned 10. My son turned 12 in October.
All three of my kids are officially in the double digits for age. ππππ
There have been high highs and low lows, but I wouldn't trade my time with them for the world β€οΈ

It's not anime, but the pitch always gave me isekai vibes. It's just so different from basic isekai-style properties in a really great way. I still can't believe that I didn't jump on it sooner.
I bought the bundle and I decided to give it a shotβ¦
Damn it! I feel very foolish for sleeping on it. I just reached Chapter 4 in the first volume and it is AMAZING!
I'm going to read it all, give him back the wonderful book I've been neglecting and then I'm going to pick up the RPG!
Having 3 kids who are in 4th and 6th grade and all play sports (baseball and softball), I feel like I have very little time to sit down and read a physical book. I listen to Tech podcasts, RPG podcasts, stream videos, etc because I can multitask. With a physical book I can't...
A co-worker has the oversized hardback edition and brought it in with the intention having me borrow it.
Like a monster, it's been sitting on a shelf at my house. I feel guilty every day that I haven't read it and offered to give it back, but he told me no. Keep it till I read itβ¦
I'm not sure why, but I've been avoiding DIE by @kierongillen.bsky.social, both the comic anthology and the RPG.
I found this Humble Bundle that has all of the comics in it (currently 15 days left):

As stated above, Ayreon exposed me to a lot of other artists and one of them was Devin Townsend. Devin is a real talent and Strapping Young Lad is good stuff, but his side projects are the best IMHO. Check out Power Nerd.
Favorite song: Retinal Circus (Live) - Addicted!

Other progressive bands I fell in love with from that guy's collection were Dream Theater, Opeth, and Porcupine Tree. The first song I heard from Porcupine Tree was Blackest Eyes and I was all in!
Favorite song: Deadwing - Lazarus

In my 20s, I ended up working for a guy who was really into progressive metal, the top artist I landed on was Ayreon. Each album is a Metal opera composed of several artists from many other bands. Simply mind-blowing!
Favorite song: The Human Equation - Day Eleven: Love

Nightwish was the probably the second most listened to metal band for me right after I graduated college. I don't have a favorite front singer, as I think all 3 have have great albums/songs. There is one album I can loop all day:
Favorite song: Once - Dark Chest of Wonders

Outside of Metallica, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Quiet Riot, and even Green JellΓΆ my early metal years are not much to speak of. In college I found Hammerfall through a friend and it opened my eyes. I wanted more metal sub-genres.
Favorite song: Legacy of Kings - Back to Back

Listening to a Spotify "Daily Mix" for Metal got me thinking. I discovered Metal back in 5th or 6th grade. My tastes in metal have become fairly eclectic over the years, but I tend to listen to more Symphonic Metal these days. Here are some of my Go-To bands/albums/songs, in no particular order:
@gobagpod.com just wanted to say hello! Found you through Nerd's RPG Variety Podcast! While I'm not very vocal, I did follow the Directors of this podcast through the Gaming and BS podcast and being a member of their Discord.
I love the espionage genre in RPGs, fiction, and movies. Happy to follow!

@machineiv.bsky.social and the crew behind an #iHunt short film have big aspirations for the scrappy, satirical tabletop RPG all about a monster hunting gig economy.

Even more excited for this game system after the Q&A
Looking forward to the KS on Oct 7th!
I'm very interested in this system coming soon to Kickstarter on October 7th:

At its core you need to roll 1, 2, or 3's on a die, so the d4 is the best and as you fail rolls, it shifts to larger dice until you go over d12 and exhaust the trait.
