It is very hard to put down Twin. Hours just fly by while you're playing this game. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Got to play Pokemon Pokopia while resting this weekend and "obsessed" would be an understatement. The amount of creative freedom and tinkering this game allows you to experiment with seems limitless, and I love all the little interactions between Pokemon. Cannot wait to get home to play some more!
Give me your games and Iโll play them for you
BUT WHAT ABOUT OUR PRECIOUS TIME TOGETHER?! (We're both gamers so I approve of this move LOL)
Since the Animal Crossing: New Horizons update launched last month, my fiancรฉe got reabsorbed into her island adventures, making less time for us. I can tell she's getting tired of AC... however, Pokemon Pokopia is about to release, and she seems excited for that too! (Don't take this post serious)
Completed Yakuza Kiwami after 40-ish hours. While I loved my introduction to the over-the-top yet serious world of Yakuza through Yakuza 0, I feel like Kiwami was a step down for me. It was a lot of the same but without a lot of the charm that made 0 so special for me. Still recommend tho ๐
finally over the flu and back to the grind! Here is the final version of the Hinoka commission for @babblingbird โค๏ธ

If you have never heard of or seen the fighting game franchise of Power Stone from CAPCOM, this video is for you! I recently took a trip down memory lane to revisit this franchise's interactive stages, wide arsenal of weapons and items, and super fun combat. Highly recommend this series ๐
I cannot describe the thrill of finally understanding words or phrases when learning a new language and being able to properly communicate them back. For instance, I'm currently learning Japanese for my return trip next year and the small tidbit of time information I can exchange has me ecstatic!
Happy Faye Valentineโs Day! My first full illustration of 2026. I had a blast designing this one. The colors were super influenced by the TANK opening theme. I also tossed in a few of my favorite Easter eggs into the background. #cowboybebop #edwinhuang #fayevalentine

Get. To. Work!
No.
I agree with this heavily! I normally do not care to complete the Pokedex, but Arceus made catching all the Pokemon within a game possible without multiplayer help. I'm a huge fan of that!
Oh I do not have the patience or resilience to do that. But I have been casually shiny hunting in Arceus and I love how easy they make it with the shiny charm + mass outbreak combo. It's been really fun!

My issues with this game come down to the repetitiveness of Pokedex requirements, some very lackluster side quests, and RNG being devilish at times. While RNG is not new to Pokemon games, it becomes tiresome having to reload areas in hopes for better luck
The main reason I loved this game is the gameplay. I loved going into wild areas and trying to capture as many Pokemon as possible without having to battle. While battling is still in the game, and required at times, I'm at least incentivized to try out Pokemon in battle to help complete the Pokedex
Completed Pokemon Legends: Arceus after 60+ hours. This is the closest version to the Pokemon game of my dreams. The gameplay and story are more focused on understanding Pokemon rather than just becoming the best trainer in a region. More details in this thread but I recommend ๐
Dang even FaultyTwin has played some Dragon Quest games?! Would you ever pick up those DQ HD-2D Remakes that came out recently?
After testing out quite a lot from the demo, I absolutely enjoyed what this game is offering. Everything from the art style to the voice acting and even getting to hear those legendary DQ fanfares for the first time has convinced me to pick up the full game. Highly recommend ๐
Gonna stream my first ever experience with a Dragon Quest game with Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. Iโve been wanting to check out the Dragon Quest series for quite a while so why not start with the free demo of VII. Iโll be sharing my thoughts on stream and I may post them on here afterwards
Lame Gretzky โGreatest Hitsโ EP cover. Design is reminiscent of an old Nintendo 64 game box. The text is 3-Dimensional and reads "Lame Gretzky Greatest Hits".
An illustration of a clock overlaying a background of other clocks in orange and burgundy. Text reads: "X | Baby Annihilation" (title of a song by Fall Out Boy). "Time is luck and I wish ours overlapped more or for longer."
There are three cartoon wolves from the Animal Crossing series depicted in space with a bunch of stars and the Moon surrounding them.
Parody of the Taco Bell logo reading "Take Bell" depicting a goose with a pink beak holding on to a bell
A little late on this but why not, I've never done a #PortfolioDay post.
My name's Shawn, I've been fiddling around with various graphic design softwares for somewhere around 25 years. I tend to do a lot of vector designs these days, but I'm also a bit of a photoshop wizard if you ask me.

BRO WHAT?! My fiancรฉe @cassiebossmann.bsky.social rented out a theater room so we can game it up on the big screen for my birthday. Best life partner ever! (Also ignore the quick Photoshop work ๐ )
Itโs worthless now but Iโll buy it from you for $20 USD ๐
If you have the capability to play Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, please do! This is not only one of my favorite Fire Emblem games but it's also one of my favorite games of all time. Now that there's another way to access it, it's the perfect time to give this game a shot. Highly recommend ๐

Thatโs something I forgot to touch on. The new mechanics of wall riding and grinding I think can help with tightening up races (I know speedrunners definitely use them), but there feels like so little opportunity for casual racers like you and I to implement them
