The list of reasons RFK is not suited to oversee HHS is lengthy. His ignorance of Medicare and Medicaid and community health centers is terrifying. Community Health Centers serve 32.5 million people in this country, that is 1 in 10 people in the US.
The fact that RFK cannot speak to how Medicare and Medicaid operate and has no idea what a Federally Qualified Health Center is, prove his is unfair to oversee HHS.
The man doesn't understand Medicaid, why would he understand Community Health Centers that serve most of this country's Medicaid population. This administration is trying to kill the underserved in our nation.
You think the US had a healthcare crisis on its hands prior to 2025, you haven't seen anything yet. Community Health Centers provide care to 1 in 10 people in the US. To defund safety net healthcare providers would be a death sentence for underserved communities.
Community Health Centers are safety net providers, providing primary care, behavioral health services, dental care, and so much more to underserved populations. CHCs serve over 32.5 million people in the US, that is 1 in 10 people.
