I did wonder who Nouse was.

Just made myself a big bowl of porridge on a cold day and tucked in. ... What?? It was literally a mouthful of sawdust. Checked the packet of oats and found it said 'with added bran.' I never waste food that isn't actually off, but think I'll have to make an exception and buy a new one.

Sounds very like our squirrels but they seem to have gone elsewhere for the winter so I'm afraid you may be right. Those sonic rat scarers seem to do the job.

I'm afraid we blocked ours off as soon as any danger of building inspectors had gone. It's not as if there's no air flow in our kitchen.
