Look at who I got to move off the road! We hear their chorus all day and night but they're almost impossible to see except when they cross the road at night like this!

Found a rough-skinned newt while getting out of the car!! They're basically just long frogs, I love them so much <3

I'm not sure we get the truly ripe version in the grocery store! I was disappointed in the real ones too but then I got it from the Asian market and it was way sweeter and softer than the other ones I had from a regular store. Starfruit is like this too, it can actually have flavor when ripe!
