Never meet (or read bsky posts from) your heroes
Also, @raphaelmerz.bsky.social and @epizyklen.bsky.social were amazing, as always!
Raphael, Max and me in front of our poster.
Conference room filled with people
That's a wrap for #PSE8 at @unileiden.bsky.social. Always amazed by the work people do in metascience, even though I only understood maybe half of the talks.
Also thanks to anyone engaging with me in some way, either at the poster session or on any other occasion, I appreciate it!
Not quite a at PhD level yet, but your DMs aren't open to the public :)
Ich hoffe doch, dass da noch Foto-Credits kommen π
Files back in the overview? :o
β¨ In 'CRediTs for Students', we developed empirically informed materials β such as a supervision agreement and authorship guidelines β for students and supervisors to foster the transparent and systematic recognition of students' contributions to science. osf.io/tygsp/
Among other things, we developed an π¦Authorship Guideline and a πSupervision Agreement to support student authorship and spark early conversations about credit and contributions!
And we're currently evaluating the impact that these tools had at our department. π
π Excited to see our project 'CRediTs for Students? β Promoting Student Authorships in Psychology' recognized alongside so many other inspiring initiatives!
If you're interested in implementing something similar, reach out! Or check out our OSF page: osf.io/tygsp/.

Day 2 of #SIPS2025 ended with a fabulous boat trip! Iβve been told that SIPSers took part in traditional Hungarian dances led by @martonkovacs.bsky.social and @szaszibarnabas.bsky.social . But what happened on the boat, stays on the boat. Tss!
and as it turns out, it's even worth a commendation (amongst other amazing projects!).

Turns out, students actually CAN do scientific work. like conference talks. on student authorship. #SIPS2025 @improvingpsych.org @raphaelmerz.bsky.social
π#SIPS2025 starts today! π
We are so excited to:
π€ hear from the speakers,
π learn during the workshops,
π οΈ conduct projects during hackathons,
π¬ and discuss ideas with the SIPS Community!
We encourage all participants to post their thoughts about the conference with the hashtag #SIPS2025!
I'd love a shirt saying "improving psych", instead of just the logo! :)
We had such a great time at our PYMS Summer Symposium in Tilburg yesterday! Great to meet so many new ECR meta-scientists from the Netherlands and abroad
Many thanks to everyone who was there to make this day so engaging and inspiring
somehow i feel like starting a scientific crisis
Bitte nochmal so ein Talk in 2025, dann bin ich dabei :D
Sounds like an award-worthy study
πVery excited to finally see our paper on nonsignificance misinterpretations published! π
Together, @smurphee.bsky.social, Aurelio FernΓ‘ndez, Linda Reimann and I investigated the prevalence of "p > .05 = absence of an effect" interpretations. (1/4)
