Next day, good news news from #DH2026 in #Daejeon arrived - our proposal on "Nostalgia in alt-right social media: Truth Social" (with Mykola Makhortykh) got accepted!

Very excited to approach nostalgia computationally across such different corpora and bringing new insights to the table.

Happy to head to Daejon, South Korea this summer to present a short paper on this tiny dataset of 19c periodicals - let's see how much more work I can get done in that time so as not to disappoint #DH2026

#DH2026 proposal has been accepted. Our "Playing Heaven" team will host a mini-conference on AI and intellectual history with Neo-Confucianism as our case study. CFP and more details to follow.
