We recently lost our 10+ year old golden mix. I would have loved for her to tell us she wasn't feeling well so we could have taken her to the doctor sooner. They hid illness so well it was too late by the time we noticed something was wrong. I hope one day someone invents a pet speech translator.

I was such an avid physical book reader that it was difficult for me to listen to books. When I first started to read them that way I couldn't "see" the people and places as clearly as when I'd read the words. At this point, my brain has adapted but the written word still gives more more visuals.

Currently, I'm growing pomegranate and pineapple guava from seed. I know they might not bear the best tasting fruit, but with luck the fruit will be close enough to the mother plant's.
