People just forget that type of behavior is in ALL fandoms, just somw bigger ones like mlp and sonic are a lot louder because they are big in numbers. So sadly majority can be rude and insufferable when the few get lumped in because its few and far inbetween.
They mostly mean how those act in a fandom. For example in the my little pony fandom, a lot of people can get argumentive and fight over ships, interactions, how characters are protrayed, and just become so beliderant that it makes it feel that no one can have opinions or creative thought about it.
I allow fanart just when it comes to NSFW its iffy depending on the character.
