In a battle to convince mainstream German voters that it is not a danger to the country, the hard-right party has an ally as divisive as anyone

WHO PICKS THE NEXT POPE?π»π¦
My analysis of the College of Cardinals in The Sunday Times @thetimes.com found that liberals form the biggest group - but no faction has an overall majority.
Suggests a longer than typical Conclave if the pope dies or resigns - and a possible compromise candidate.

There are 138 cardinals with their own political leanings and ambitions eligible to vote on the candidates to succeed Francis
This analysis forms Part 2 of my two-part series on the politics and power brokers of the Vatican.
Who raised eyebrows when they strolled into St Peterβs Sq on Monday? Who has been receiving secret support from a senior Vatican official?

π₯A usually well-sourced Catholic priest has tweeted, saying that Pope Francis' room in Domus Santa Maria has been sealedπ₯
This typically only happens when a pope has died.
However, the official Vatican position (as of 1hr ago) is that he βremains critical but stationary" and did some work earlier.

Teeth, boobs or bum β Turkeyβs surgeons are here to sell you a solution
Despite the risks, cosmetic surgery abroad is growing in popularity and every imaginable procedure is on offer at the second International Health Tourism Expo
Lips, teeth, legs, arms, hair, bums, stomachs, boobs and even genitals - on Friday I spent the day at Turkeyβs Health Tourism Expo at the QE2 Centre, in the shadow of Westminster Abbey.

Shaimaa Ftouh has had no scans, and didn't even know the gender of her baby. She had to walk through shellfire to get to the hospital, where she was told she would need an emergency c-section.
She then had to wait for 14 hours. The c-section lasted an hour and was performed without anaesthetic.

Giving birth in Gaza: the mother who had a c-section without anaesthetic
Shaimaa Ftouh endured unthinkable pain to deliver her daughter after healthcare collapsed in the war zone and now fears for her babyβs survival
If you read one thing today make it this.
I had the honour of commissioning this piece for @thetimes.com to write about what its like to be a pregnant woman in Gaza today.
Their dispatch is heartbreaking, horrifying and sadly totally normal for today's Gazans.
