After damaging my left shin last Wednesday I’ve not been out and about as much as I’d like thanks to the pain. Today it feels a lot better so we went for a short amble towards Netherbury. Besides a fantastic Spindle heaving with blossom we found a very handsome Kestrel feather! 😁

After yesterday’s rest day we visited Topsham followed by Otterton Mill. Fabulous acorn crop on the oaks at Otterton.

TBH I’m struggling with my leg. Following the damage to my shin my ankle has now become swollen and painful too. Resting is very frustrating; missing the walking

Yesterday I launched myself over a coffee table in the cottage and damaged my left shin - muppet! 🙄.The egg-sized swelling’s gone down but it’s ruddy painful when I walk 😬

So today we ambled slowly round Symondsbury and the lovely Sou’-Sou’-West art gallery.
