Coen Teulings and I study three distributions (wealth, city and firm size), which are always thought to be distributed Pareto.
Bottom line: These distributions are *not* Pareto, but Weibull! A thread 1/
in the third quarter of 2023, 51 groups of workers won their union through voluntary recognition and gave notice to the NLRB. the new certified bargaining representatives cover almost 6,700 workers.
this includes a unit of 3,700 casino workers at Venetian in Las Vegas!
