Some recent photos with my grandfather's Exakta VX (1955) using a Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm f2.8 with Kodak Tri-X 400! The lens has a really close focusing ability, allowing it to function a bit like a macro lens

I just wrote a blog post about my experience using a DSLR for miniature photography. I was really pleased with the quality I was able to get out of it, despite only costing around $200. If you have access to an old DSLR, you should consider trying to use it for miniatures!
These daemons were made in secret by our friend Eli (@redwetskeleton) and only revealed on the final day of our Inq28 Vastarian event, when the lighthouse was activated! You can see more photos of these abhorrent creations on our blog!

I am glad they arrived safely!
Thank you! It has been fun to see some of my images in print.
Working with film got me thinking more about how photography is so often viewed digitally, on phone screens and monitors, rather than in prints. This led me to consider getting a photo printer, after doing some research, I decided on getting an Epson EcoTank ET-8550 printer!
If you have not, consider backing the 28 Collect Kickstarter, run by Dave Taylor Miniatures! The campaign is ending next week, where you can get a printed version of 28 magazine! If you do, you will get an STL for this amazing Trench Crusade combat biologist.

It is a lovely lens! There are so many amazing vintage Nikon/Nikkor lens that are relatively cheap now. I am constantly searching for more, ha ha.
I have been playing around with lighting to take more interesting miniature photographs. I used an adapted Micro-Nikkor 55mm f2.8 lens!
It was amazing; I am glad so many people were able to take part!
We just released an episode of our podcast about the Vastarian Inq28 event!

Ha ha, your point is well taken! We do a lot with rescaling firearms and other aspects of the models we create; most are still firmly in the Warhammer 40k setting, however, so there are some outlandish things there.
We recently got back from an amazing weekend, having run our Vasstarian event with Bill Ford! It was a remarkable time spent with some of our best friends, helping tell a collective narrative. Expect to see a lot of posts here and on our blog detailing all aspects of the event!
Such a great warband! It was a pleasure to photograph it!
This was quite the experience! Glad you were a part of the Vastarian event!
