A great perspective on their trials and tribulations on a daily basis. It opened my eyes for college student from the biggest town in southern Georgia. At the time, jacksonville florida. I am 82 years old now and those conversations still stay with me.

I remember standing on the corner in way, cross Georgia, I think it was highway. Eighty two and being picked up by a car full of black college students
. They drove me to albany, and then I got out and hitchhiked the rest of the way to my school. The conversation in the car was unbelievable.I gained

I remember hitchhiking from jacksonville, florida to a town outside of albany georgia, where my college was located. I used to hitch hike home some 250 miles each way.
