Exhibition preps: making stuff so my ceramic works can be hung vs a regular pedestal. The blue somehow makes the pieces float in a perpetual space. Looking forward to see them up and finished with life flowers and branches.

What I also love about clay is that if something doesn't work out, you can just stomp it and then recycle all the material. I couldn't do exactly that with my expensive colour pencils and paper. - knowing not to be wasting materials actually gives me a real sense of freedom to experiment
Yeah, I was thinking of blue and whites too 🤔 I only have overglaze available atm, gonna have a good think on how to use those.

I'm only just learning about slip decoration and am amazed with the wide variety of techniques and applications. Loving it! Making animals like that Roman Barbotine technique looks like so much fun too.
