I can't even remember years when traumatic events happened to me. I have to approximate based on what I remember about the event.

Trauma can create huge gaps in your memory.

Chronic illness is unfair & unrelenting.

I’m facing a threat to my housing which has wrecked my baseline.

I haven’t written in weeks.

I don’t have a working washing machine so I’m covered in hives.

Today multiple things broke on me.

Then I broke. Sorry for the lack of writing. My brain is done.

They should just not do that in general. Unless they actually ARE experts themselves, they should just not.

Even as experts, men should really pause and ask, "Why am I correcting this person? Is it really to be helpful or am I trying t6be condescending?" It's usually the latter.

I love audio books, but I still need the text to follow along frequently to keep things straight. It can get expensive and it's not like there are a lot of "Buy the paperback, get a discount on the audiobook" discount packages. I get both when I can, though.

As someone who is disabled and can no longer work full-time or do manual labor for extended periods, this is absolutely no surprise to me.

The job market is total shit. If you have a background in the medical field or can handle retail, you're okay. The rest of us are screwed.

I went to graduate school with people who barely received their MS and had to take certification exams several times to pass. Supervisors weren't even comfortable providing a letter of recommendation.

I am well aware of the racism and exclusion of various groups of women in the original Suffragette movement. I was considering art/crafting with "Votes" changed to "Autonomy" but feel this would be excluding too many women given its history.

The DNC chose candidates they knew couldn't win on policy, so they played a game of chicken. They are STILL playing that game.

Yes, Hillary Clinton's campaign elevated Trump in the primaries believing him a weak candidate.

Yes, we have more far right candidates IN PART because of the DNC promoting them in the primaries.

We all struggle with our prejudices and owning them. A lot of people truly believe that they cannot possibly be prejudice. And some of us are prone to over correcting. 🤷‍♀️

No easy answers. People are complex and we often just suck.

White folks- follow Black folks like Georgina Kiersten to CHALLENGE the racism and prejudice you have internalized your whole life because of our racist systems. Don't do so to virtue signal.
