This is assuming Trump doesn’t just unilaterally shut down the elections over some vague “security concerns.”

I respectfully disagree. This is laying groundwork to either cancel or control the elections in the fall. Under the guise of “Iran interfered in our last elections so we need a national emergency and federal control of elections” or whatever BS they come up with.

It’s both shocking and tragic how much of the psychotic violent right wing can be boiled down this simple thing. It’s almost universal.

They ALL inside trade. You think her husband was some financial genius? No he knew things before anyone else did. Anyone elected to any public office should have to out all investments in a blind trust. That way their only motivation is for everyone to do well

Not a single person will suffer any consequences for any of this. That’s the lawless world we’re in now. The bad people do bad things and everyone in a position to do so absolutely refuses to stand up to them.

I think there’s a chunk that, deep down, know they f*cked up. But their ingrained bigotry and hatred of the left will never let them admit it. Not even to themselves.

The flip side is the growing "lonlieness epidemic" of white males. (Entirely their own fault, btw) See, now that women have a little bit of independence and don't NEED to marry for security, men have to be likeable. And most white men... aren't. (I say this as a happily married white man.)

More to the point, they want a “refund” so to speak. They feel like someone should help pay for their “defective” kid. We used to have things like that. Social programs and assistance. But that crowd votes against their own interests and those programs have been defunded. It’s supremely frustrating.

I like it too. I’m just worried Musk or someone like him will come along and buy the platform because they can’t let us have nice things.
