And lastly (for now), I think we have very few outside festival seasons left before the climate becomes completely unsafe. We’ve already been seeing it. Lost Lands was a dust bowl this year. Forest got crushed with rain. Extreme winds at Bass Canyon. Climate change is here and it DGAF about PLUR

Get it! I’m beginning to focus on going to local and independent shows. I’m lucky enough to live in a city (PHL) where that’s an option for me. I feel for people whose only options are traveling to bigger events as prices continue to rise.

Anywho, I’m also nervous for what these next 4 years will do to organizations like Dance Safe and Bunk Police. DT is going to revamp the war on drugs, threatening to go to war with Mexico over drug cartels. This will have major ripple effects and it will impact drug safety on many levels.

FYI, my two passions are raving and politics so imma be talking my shit #onhere a lot. All are welcome and I’m usually down to engage in discourse, but won’t tolerate aggressiveness or disrespect. The rave scene IS political and we need to learn how to have these conversations w/ each other.

Thinking about how this election is gonna affect the rave/festival scene. I think we’re gonna see a lot more smaller fest go under and the prices of the major fest are going to continue to sky rocket. I know this has already been happening, but the incoming economic polices are going to 10x the pace

I take forever to wake up in the mornings unless I either go for a long walk or take a shower and turn the water to cold for at least a minute at the end. It’s just the way my brain and body are.

I personally haven’t done it, but all my friends who have say they’ll never do GA camping again. Only complaint I heard was from this past year bc it was so hot and they aren’t allowed to bring your own canopies in for extra shade.
