The city I live in full of hills and canyons. Yes, there are flat areas. But if I was to take mass transit to my work it would take over & an hour and a half, it takes me 30 mins on a good day by car. There is nothing near me that isn’t over half an hour walk. I also live in a city over 100 yrs old.

Well, I do actually have my passport card in my wallet, but then I live near a US border and would need it if I ever wanted to cross. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Please don’t beat yourself up about Loki’s passing. You did what you could, you didn’t go out of your way to cause him harm. It sounds like you’ve been in a stressful situation beyond your control.

I’ve had kitties live to be over twenty, I had one who lived to 8 who recently passed, I also had one who didn’t make it to 2. I tried to save him for over a month, and he ended up suffering more because of my trying to save him. (He had FIP.)

I know my words can’t remove the heartache you’re feeling, but as someone who has had many kitties over their not that long life, I do know Loki knew you loved him. Sometimes things happen, maybe we contributed, maybe we didn’t, but our kitty is gone nonetheless.
