It’s a Friday once again!
Woodside Ferry service is running on a 30 min schedule until further notice, due to maintenance. Ferries will depart Woodside at xx:07 & xx:37. Ferries will depart Halifax at xx:22 & xx:52. Alderney Ferry service is still running on a 30 min schedule. Shuttles will be provided.

I seem to recall a bunch of smaller potholes on that stretch where the road work is happening. I'll definitely keep an eye out for that on the way home #research
Looks like some sort of collision or issue on the MacKay Bridge ramp to HFX, on the HFX side...
That means delays - you may want to take the Macdonald to HFX at the moment #HFXTraffic

But there have been a number of issues in this exact spot the last couple days

I'd avoid that stretch completely if you can #HFXTraffic

All HRCE schools will be delayed in opening by two hours today, Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
Annapolis Valley RCE (AVRCE):
March 4/26: Late Start
All AVRCE schools opening 2 hours later than usual today due to road conditions, and bus drivers will use their discretion on roads.
From the Strait RCE (SRCE):
March 4, 2026: Classes are cancelled at all SRCE schools today due to weather and road conditions.
In addition, all schools, buildings and worksites (Mulgrave Operations Centre, Bus Garages, Regional Office at SAERC) will delay opening until 11:00 a.m.
From Chignecto Central (CCRCE)
All CCRCE schools (Cumberland County, Pictou County, Colchester County and schools in the municipality of East Hants) will be closed today, March 4, 2026, due to weather forecast and road conditions. Offices and work sites remain open.
Next up: the Tri County (TCRCE)
Due to icy road conditions, all TCRCE schools are closed today, Wednesday, March 4th. All offices and worksites will have a delayed opening of 10:00am.
