That mini game better be Mercenaries, all I'm saying
That mini game better be Mercenaries, all I'm saying
Smart move to put Wart in the movie to try and appease the 40 year olds who are taking their children to see it (the actual audience for the film)
Resident Evil 4, Shadow of the Colossus, Ocarina of Time, Jak & Daxter, Majora's Mask, P3 Reload, Bayonetta, Sekiro, PokΓ©mon White 2
Jumping on the trend. My 3x3 would probably be this as of right now, but honestly beyond the first five games it gets hard to pin down
TW101 was so good man
Look, I'm sure Pokopia is great, but I'm not spending nearly Β£60 on a top-down PokΓ©mon life sim game
Peak: RE4, REmake S: RE2 1998, Requiem, RE1 A: 4 remake, 2 remake B: 7, 3 Nemesis, 5, 0, 6 C: 3 remake, Village D: Code Veronica
My updated RE tierlist
I've finished every mainline Resident Evil game and remake. Requiem is amongst my favourites, behind OG 4, REmake and OG 2 (in that order). Amazing game, I can't quite believe Capcom pulled it off
RE7: "We're so back"
RE Village: "It's so over"
RE Requiem: "We're SO back"
Got a kick out of RE bringing back its own Glup Shitto character only to promptly get rid of him 60 seconds later
I've gotten to the RPD in Requiem and it's definitely hitting the right emotional beats for me. The cynical take is that it's a low hanging nostalgia grab, but I think after 11 mainline games and 30 years they've earned the right to reuse just one iconic location
I wonder if this is partially a spiteful move against the next Xbox presumably having Steam access
Obviously I'm not going to pass a final judgement of the game based on a leak of a concept, but that sounds super lame and boring on paper. Sony Santa Monica's been doing nothing but GoW for over 20 years

Just saw a post stating Nintendo doesn't care about quality or fun games anymore. I mean, I know Metroid Prime 4 was shit but good grief
Yup. I'm sure we'd all love to be able to binge RE9 for 10 hours straight but life happens! Sometimes people have other things on!
I also think Bluepoint's subsequent pitches sounded pretty weak, but couldn't SIE just give them a handful of potential projects to tackle and given them the choice out of those? Like, I don't know, a potential God of War trilogy remake if Sony *really* wanted that???
In regards to the additional Bluepoint news I don't know why they would've fully remade Bloodborne anyway. The game still looks gorgeous. What happened to the art of the humble remaster (a resolution and framerate bump)? Bluepoint was pretty good at those as well!
Please let Koki Nakanishi be the leading visionary for all the mainline RE games. 7 and Requiem are such distinct and refreshingly confident games
Genuinely one of the worst paced games I've ever played. No, I don't want to walk up the mountain three times
Standard Classic is the most hardcore survival horror (in the Grace sections anyway) this series has been since REmake. I can't believe how sick this shit is
This is clearing Village so far, which isn't the highest of bars, but it's good stuff
Getting splashes of RE7, the movie Se7en and The Silence of the Lambs from RE Requiem so far. Very strong first impression!
As for the starters I like the water one
If it has a relatively stable framerate I'll buy it (used, from eBay or CeX). If it has a relatively stable framerate AND voice acting I'll buy it new
My guess as well
Nintendo first-party has to have at least one huge system seller out this year for the holiday season if there's no PokΓ©mon, right?
Couldn't drop Colosseum as well? Always a caveat
I don't really care about PokΓ©mon that deeply anymore because I'm also turning 30 this year, and the quality of the games over the past 10 years have hardly been something that can please kids and adults alike, but I can't pretend it hasn't been a huge part of my life. Happy 30th!
Has anyone coined the term "dopamineslop" for games like Ball x Pit and Vampire Survivors yet?
