Happy Book Birthday! 🎉 My friend Kara Thom’s “Sweet, Tart” is finally here! It’s a heart-filled middle grade about Halle (and a horse) as she figures out her place in the world. It’s delightful, and double so for writers, as Halle’s language arts class uses poetry as a touch point. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

To cap this busy work week, we have a cookie party! I made pumpkin cookies and couldn’t find the pumpkin spice. So I ran to buy…what was in the other drawer. 🙄 Then, my groceries fell out of the car (…🍎…🍊…🧅) and I couldn’t find the pumpkin spice I just bought.
It was under the tire, waiting for me.
