I started rewatching Friday Night Lights tonight. Holy cow.

Airlines are responsible for all their own overflight permissions, with the exception of military contract flights. In those cases certain countries require diplomatic overflight permission, which the DoD (typically the DoD office at a given embassy) obtains on our behalf.

Prosecuting lawmakers for their speech is a clear assault on the most basic of American freedoms. Fortunately the grand jury stopped this in its tracks, but it should never have gotten this far.
