That first image is stunning. Never seen a shot of the starlings from that perspective before.
Shows the shifting balance in Europe towards the Eastern countries.
An essential read from @reutersinstitute.bsky.social on Musk, X, and what comes next. Importantly it touches on the international and geopolitical implications 👇🏻

Really helpful - thank you. Light at the end of a very dark tunnel.
One of the key reasons why this place is currently so much better than X is because it’s just more useful. Yesterday I heard about what was happening in Aleppo much more quickly here than there. It’s one of the things that made Twitter so powerful and Bluesky seems to have rekindled that.
A remarkable stat: Heidi Alexander’s appointment as Transport Secretary means the cabinet is now 100% state-educated for the first time in history.
We've created a starter pack of international policy voices and Wilton Park friends worth following on Bluesky. This is an evolving list which we'll continue to update - please do follow & share: 👇

Traffic from Bluesky's @bsky.app to @theguardian.com is already 2x that of Threads
In its first week on the platform & with 300k followers, Bluesky traffic from @theguardian.com posts is already higher than it was from TwX in any week in 2024, where the account had 10.8m followers, but🧵
This is is 💯 true across many topics. You need genuine dialogue in a trusted space and not more platforms for the official line. Too many conferences fall into that trap. 👇🏻
It’s a really lovely body of work 👏🏻
A photograph of Brighton pier and starling murmuration as seen from the sea. A gentle swell is swallowing part of the view of the pier and a crowd of onlookers stands on the deck of the pier
Brighton pier seen from the during a winter sunset. The sea is fairly calm, and reflecting the blue colour of the sky. The pier is picked out in crisp, warm sunlight.
A photograph of Brighton seafront near the i360. The photograph is taken from the sea, with the lens half in and half out of the water. Beneath the sea is very green, above is the city skyline fading into a sea fret.
Brightons west pier as seen from the sea during winter sunset. A wave is rolling in and partially obscuring the pier.
A selection of #Brighton sea views. Familiar places seen from an unfamiliar angle.

Seeing that grass 😮💨 That place is a thing of beauty!
Proof that John Prescott understood media and presentation in a way people often underestimated. A person of depth and a real character.
Really important topic in the context of what is happening. High North strategically critical now. Our next event will be good one 👇🏻
Finally got around to developing some film with shots from Brighton Pride.
I find my expectations for hit rate with film are so much higher than digital and wildly unrealistic, but I enjoy the slight randomness of shooting film occasionally. #streetphotography
