Suddenly, there are two fewer lorries holding everyone up. Less fuel cost for both companies. Less emissions from having two lorries on the road.
Someone tell me why this doesn't happen.
"Here, John, I've got 100 logs in Aberdeen that need shipped to Inverness."
"You are not going to believe this, Bob, but I have 100 logs in Inverness that need shipped to Aberdeen."
Driving along; lorry carrying massive logs of wood in front of me, slowing down traffic for miles.
Another lorry, carrying suspiciously identical looking logs, drives past us in the opposite direction, a tail of drivers behind it.
Why don't the companies just get on the phone to one another?
