Just had a notification that The Metropolitan Museum of Art have aquisitioned my book Crafted With Pride, and it’s now pride of place (pun intended!) in their research library! 📚🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The UK has dropped to its lowest position ever (22nd) on the
@ilgaeurope.bsky.social ranking of the best and worst places to be LGBTQ+ in Europe.

Ten years ago, it ranked in first place.

Our government must reverse, not further, this shocking decline in LGBTQ+ rights.

The landscape for LGBTQ+ research is so bleak. Still fuming that UKRI decided this review was acceptable and didn't undermine EDI policy. Highlights: no relevence to LGB cuz trans inclusive, no hostile climate cuz Pride and gay marriage, no need for declonisation cuz Tate did it 24 years ago (?) 🤷‍♀️

Sorry I should have specified - as in, what job sites etc should I be looking at? Netherlands and Sweden are high on my list!

Apropos of nothing that has happened this week…where is the best place to look for academic jobs in the EU? The UK no longer feels like a place my community is welcome and I am genuinely scared.
