I used to grow milkweed for the Monarch butterflies. I hug trees and I like to take photographs of nature, insects, animals, and birds. I try to be a good human. California born and bred, recently relocated to southwestern Arizona.

Since late 2018, the Heber Wild Horse Territory has quietly become a crime scene. Federally protected wild horses have been found shot and left where they fell, their bodies discovered along forest roads and among the pines.

The Air Force is extending the public comment period for a contentious project that would add up to seven telescopes to a small parcel of land atop a Maui mountain regarded as sacred by some native Hawaiians.
