Thank you!
Thank you!
I have this too, especially around full moon. Itβs been rough this week! But hoping it gets better soon for both of us.
Screenshot of an adventure game. A man stands in the clearing of a mushroom forest, looking at a pomegranate.
Folks have been testing the first chapter of Gilt this week. Lots of really great feedback. I added a couple of scenes, too. Hereβs one I painted on Wednesday. Iβm so happy to see people really connecting with the project and enjoying my strange ideas.
Yay or neigh
Is this a euphemism?
I heard that it came out last week? Oh god if itβs not out then how have I been playing it?!
Now I know how to be short, in case it happens to me again some time.
Well rested. I am happy to live a very full, busy life, where I am able to do many things that I am interested in and passionate about, but I wish I was less tired all the time.
Congratulations Cyrus!
You thought your Xbox was dead β¦ but it was merely UNDEAD! β°οΈ
Vampire Therapist lives on the Xbox right now. π
Damn, ANOTHER thing I want to watch.
It was, and I enjoyed it very much!
Richard bestowed upon me the very great honour of comparing two of my puzzles to Zork: Grand Inquisitor - the highest compliment one can receive.
A bass player and guitarist standing next to each other on stage in smoke and coloured light.
Iβve been gigging with this white blonde telecaster you see me with in the back here for about a year now and Iβm so happy with it. I am officially a telecaster convert!
She moves quite quickly when she needs to, so I think sheβs okay! And youβd be fine, theyβre not harmful to humans!
A large, seven legged huntsman spider, hanging out among desk items.
This seven legged huntsman spider has been hanging out on my desk for a couple of months. Sheβs gotten more and more bold, and has hung around for long enough that Iβm now trying to decide what to name her.
Content warning: Spider photo!
Also even on the non fake ones the people are weird.
Oh yes, I think thereβs a particular age where weβre particularly impressionable, and the things we experience around that time kind of informs our taste in things for the rest of our adult life.
For me Riven in particular sucked me in like few other game worlds have. I remember being absolutely enchanted with this world I had been sent to explore. I still get those feelings looking at screenshots of it today.
Yes, they were all great (but somehow Pharaoh is the best of the bunch, for me!)
Interesting question. Is it a cop out to reply that itβs probably the game that made me think about how I want to design games the most, even if itβs not necessarily βmy favourite gameβ? I guess thatβs where Iβd put it now.
Yes, exactly! And a good selection of planes to fly, which was awesome.
It might actually be my favourite combat flight sim - it came along at a time where I was ready for a really good one, and just had such a fun presentation and was friendly enough to be fun for a kid and then still fun as I got a bit older and better at it.
I know *exactly* what you mean. I remember this really distinct feeling of thinking βoh, wait, you can DO that in a game?!β
I would still be playing it to this day if I could get it to reliably run in modern Windows without crashing randomly.
Oh youβre right! For some reason I thought it was 1999 - well, it was 1999 when my father bought it, I guess, and so thatβs probably why. My mistake!
Congratulations!
