So my car got vandalized or hit and run over the weekend and my insurance wants $500 up front on deductible before I can get it fixed. What the hell is insurance even for beats the hell out of me.

It's a newer car (read not old enough to drink) and there's a bunch of little doodads and the placement of the dent means they have to replace the entire back hatch. Thankfully I still only have to pay $500 of that but still. 💸
