To date, the Maternity and Neonatal Safety Improvement Programme (MatNeoSIP) has: Saved 1,692 lives, Prevented 554 cases of cerebral palsy, supported nearly 100 organisations* and prevented 708 cases of strep B in babies. *to implement tools which improve the early recognition of deterioration of women and babies, leading to timely escalation. #WorldPatientSafetyDay

Responding to the Defining the Size of the Health Innovation Prize report, Science Minister Lord Vallance said:

β€œThis report sets out the impressive potential we can unlock by using the NHS as an engine for innovation. From personalised therapies for diseases, to using AI to free doctors and nurses from admin so they can spend more time with patients, new technologies stand to benefit both our health and the economy."
