They're hoping their base takes their word for it without looking at the videos that prove the lie.
A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

The speed at which they got this picture to a fox news reporter means this was entirely about creating the narrative they want. The truth no longer matters, just being able to set the narrative.

FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.
What a joke they are. An observer is hardly a domestic terrorist.
The DHS Form-205, a “warrant” of removal/deportation, is signed by an ICE official, not a judge. That’s precisely why it does not meet the Fourth Amendment standard.
(JD did go to Yale Law School so he legit may not know how the Fourth Amendment works)
