This is a game that probably should've been launched in Early Access, rather than a full 1.0 release. There's a good game here, with some extremely neat ideas, but the interface is finicky at best, and an outright mess at worst.
I think I'll come back to this one after a few updates.
You're quickly into automation and getting different drones, and can assign roles to them, giving them different modules for different tasks, like one digger drone to excavate scrap piles... It's all really, really neat.
But my god, the interface seriously needs overhauling along with tutorials.

Like, this stuff right here is solid! It's definitely like I said, somewhere between Factorio and Fumes, and I'm seriously into the whole building up from the little rover to a mean weapons platform, adding an engine to power more weapons, fuel tank to supply engine, storage capacity for salvage...
The interface itself is just messy as hell, often unclear with how you're meant to makes things work, and sometimes just trying to select buildings is a mess, but once I got into it and started messaging about swapping modules and upgrading the little rover into a proper wasteland war rig? Ooooh!
Playing a bit more today, it's a very interesting if finicky game. It's currently at "Mixed" rating, and I can see why, because the controls and interface are awful and the tutorials are terrible, they really needed another pass because it's confusing.
However, the core idea and gameplay are good!

Shadow of the Conqueror is the infamous novel written by Shadiversity, a once well-respected sword youtuber turned grifter. His novel is an assortment of self-indulgent world-building, gratuitous violence, and unsurprising politics.
And I...read it all. God help me, I read all of it.
