Anyone who *wants* war should take their weapons and march out into the nearest desert, far from innocent souls, where they can revel in slaughter until even their hate-filled hearts are sick of it.
The rest of us will quietly ring the battlefield with land mines and go home to our loved ones.

Oh thank you!! It’s a lovely show. Really chuffed to be a tiny part of it.

Khamenei was an 86-year-old religious fundamentalist. You could have taken him out with a scandalous flash of ankle.
Operation Epstein Fury is part distraction, part profiteering.
As usual.

There’s a website which will generate a suitably apocalyptic headline in the style of the hysteric Sunday Telegraph editor Allister Heath. You have to work very hard to generate an unlikely one. I’ve done my best … stirring-fox-7e1fab.netlify.app

This is what the rubes who think AI is some whizz bang solution to work fail to get. The point of the work in education isn’t the output. The point of the work in education IS THE WORK.

It is utterly wrong to suggest that this was a deliberate action to attack or belittle the presenters or to express racist views. It was an involuntary tic which they had no control over. That’s what makes Tourette’s a disability. It’s not a choice. And for people with coprolalia it presents as

I only have a very slight knowledge and experience of Tourette’s from working on the film for a couple of days, but I know people with the condition would give anything to NOT tic (not just language/noises, but the painful and debilitating physical tics which they experience).

I do feel genuinely bad for Michael B Jordan and Delroy Lindo - the racial slur which was shouted involuntarily when they were onstage is horrible and I imagine was very distressing for them. I can guarantee, though, that the person who experienced the tic feels incredibly distressed too.

Tourette’s Syndrome is a difficult, painful condition and tics are involuntary. It can be very distressing for people with the condition at the best of times, and when they are nervous or stressed the condition can be particularly acute. They don’t get to choose what they say or do when they tic.

Fascinating. For our audio Sandman Men Of Good Fortune tale I wrote a version of the 1389 Hob Gadling pub scene in pidgin middle-English and recorded it with the cast as a sort of optional extra. Sadly it wasn’t included but it was an interesting exercise in the challenges of time travel.

It’s a Wonderful Life bank run scene.
“You're thinking of the $175 billion in tariff money all wrong. As if I had the money back in a safe. The money's not here. Your money's in the White House ballroom, the renaming of the Department of Defense, the $10 billion transfer to the Board of Peace, and a hundred other unauthorized actions.”

Hey, Donald Trump. They just arrested the artist formerly known as Prince Andrew. Imagine you must be shitting yourself about now. I mean, you do that most days anyway, but nice for it to be out of fear rather than just the usual foecal incontinence you think we don’t all know about.

Part of a red woollen Jerkin, with thickened stripes running down the edges. It looks like the sort of thing they would have made Wesley Crusher wear in Star Trek TNG
A small blue-glazed jug with a yellow cross-cross pattern on the front. the handle is broken, and there is a cork in the top.
A piece of yellow/beige cloth cross-crossed with thick red lines
A leather shoe, with the exposed sole revealing a hole just under where the ball of the owner's foot would have been.
Woollen jerkins are red,
This small jug is blue
This undershirt was chequered
and there's a hole in this shoe.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Jim Ratcliffe and his shite Ineos brand and his tax dodging, money grabbing, old white man schtick can get in the bloody sea, frankly. I’ll never buy anything branded with Ineos and if I can workout how to avoid buying other things that enrich this prick I will very much be doing those too.

The last UK Prime Minister to actually survive a full term was David Cameron, during his coalition with the LibDems (2010-15)... over a decade ago
The last one to serve the full term from election to election after winning a majority in his own right was Tony Blair (2001-05)... over *20* years ago

Just want to acknowledge and appreciate Robyn @ntsonline.bsky.social and the team who contacted my agent to let me know I wasn’t successful on a recent audition. It means so much to get a response and is still rarer than we might like, so I always want to laud positive experiences from the rooftops.

Man who bankrupted a casino also runs successful arts centre into ground in less than 3 months. And yet, somewhere in the heart of Trump Cult Land, people still believe he’s a good business man. And not a sex offender thief who stole virtually every cent he’s ever had by grifting and/or intimidation

An online newspaper obituary of Catherine O'Hara at the weekend said 'she left behind two sons' and I think I deserve some kind of a medal for NOT commenting: 'No, it was the same son twice.'
