Der Comic zeigt eine humorvolle Szene über Sorgen und ihre scheinbare Lösung in vier Panels: Eine Person sieht eine andere Person, die traurig ist und eine große, schwarze ovale Form mit der Aufschrift „Sorgen“ hält. Die erste Person wirkt überrascht („!“). Die erste Person sagt: „Lass mich dir deine Sorgen nehmen.“ Die traurige Person gibt die „Sorgen“ dankbar ab und sagt: „Danke! Das is lieb.“ Die erste Person wirft die Sorgen weit weg und ruft fröhlich: „Und weg damit!“ Die traurige Person hält nun eine neue ovale Form mit der Aufschrift „Neue Sorgen“ und sieht erneut bedrückt aus, während die erste Person sie ratlos ansieht.
Deutschlands populärster Humorist Loriot wāre heute 100 Jahre alt geworden. Für das legendāre ZDF-Quiz „Drei mal neun“ mit Wim Thoelke (1927-1995) zeichnete er den Hund Wum und ließ ihn auch singen. Mit diesem Banjolied stand er 1972 neun Wochen auf Platz eins der deutschen Hitparade. „Ach was!“
Warum ich es nicht akzeptieren kann, dass der alte Bundestag dieses weitreichende Paket beschließen soll, aber Fragen der zukünftigen Haushaltsspielräume für Infrastruktur, Bildung und Zivile Entwicklung ungeklärt der Rüstungspriorisierung untergeordnet werden soll!

In January I finally got around to watching the „More than 90 Minutes“ retrospective on FC Bayern Frauen‘s 23/24 season. It provided incredible insight into the challenges and successes of this remarkable group of women. I highly recommend it and hope the club continues to promote the Frauen.

My very last issue (on ♿️) has now come out with BMJ Medical Humanities: I have stepped down from my role as Editor in Chief. There are a lot of factors—after 17 years editing two consecutive journals, it was time. But there’s more, and I feel we should talk about the climate of #academic publishing
Die Massen-Proteste sind übrigens nicht grundsätzlich *gegen* die CDU. Sie sind gegen Rechtsextreme und Rechtsruck. In vielen Redebeiträgen dort hört man oft den Wunsch, dass die CDU wieder die Brandmauer hochzieht, und sich wieder zu den Demokraten zurückstellt. Viele reichen die Hand. Nehmt sie.
