I'm on a wait list for a pain specialist, but I'll definitely look into that too.

I'm hoping this isn't just the new normal, but it might be. 😔

I talked about it at my last appointment, it wasn't an option before since my pain moved around so much but it's a consideration now.

This may sound weird, but I don't know how my legs used to feel before 2 months ago. I had migratory pain that would flare up, now I have migratory flares and my pain has been 24/7 for months. It's odd wanting to go back to a time where I only had pain MOST of the time. 😂

I think at some point Square Enix was like "let's make the control schemes of our minigames so unintuitive that people want to skip them, that's great!"

The controls for some of these minigames are so bad at times that I question whether I want to finish rebirth.

So while I'm thankful for my friends who have helped me through this, and thankful for the health and privilege I do have. I live in Alberta, and I'm not thankful for that right now.

We need accessibility legislation, and we need to fight for access, for us all.

If I have to go somewhere in my wheelchair, I usually have to drive to Edmonton. I went to my kids school the other day and would have been completely fucked had I brought my wheelchair, it's exhausting not being thought of and not have any legislation saying I should be able to access places.

Alberta is a terrible place to require a mobility aid, about 6 months of the year I have difficulty getting into stores, if I can access them at all around here. Snow, loose gravel and ice reign supreme here and it's very difficult to get around. Even if I have my cane or a walker.

It's international wheelchair day and I'm not going to act like I don't constantly bitch about my wheelchair today. I have two wheelchairs, one I bought off kijiji and one was graciously donated to me by my friend, and I'm ever thankful for it.

Now, to my complaints and worries..

When I'm less sick I'm going to have to pay 2 bucks at 7-11 and flop my ass out of my car like a salmon in heat just so my tires quit squeaking like a high school gym floor every time I turn.

I need six naps today, and for someone to fill my wheelchair tires. Don't get me started on the irony of maintaining a wheelchair as someone who needs a wheelchair, I'll scream. 😂

I've passed by that place probably 100 times and said "I should go there some day" every single time. 😂

After I told UCP supporters that they should thank the liberals too for the data center here in Alberta they've gotten really quiet. I wonder why?
