This tweet from Alex Hirsch will always be evergreen.
Disney and Pixar are complete fucking cowards.

I need every single male artist that follows me to read this. It's not very long. You need to bear witness to this shit. You have to see it with your own eyes because you never will in your everyday life.
I'm serious, read it all please

Happy 40th to one of the greatest movies of all time. Russell Mulcahy delivered a fantasy epic with such visual energy that there still hasn't been a way to truly match it. A masterpiece.
Listen to us glaze it some more on @genrevision.com. Heck, it's been long enough it might be due a GenRevisit.
Make America So-So Again.
Cause this Great bullshit ain't so fucking great.

THIS JUST IN from @therealjoebob123.bsky.social:
"Y'all just watch the show tonight."

Kane would have hired someone else to do the prompts.
Well, gas is expensive, and food is expensive, and weβre doing a war nobody wants, but at least there are no jobs

Oh man, tonight is the final episode of the final season of THE LAST DRIVE IN. Iβve been a fan from minute one and it was a real bucket list item to be able to take part and guest on an episode in its final season. Much love to Joe Bob, Darcy, and the whole LDI crew. You guys made something special.
The Bride of Frankenstein and Barbie are two of the most recognizable female characters in pop culture, and they're also two of the most understood. Unsurprisingly, their films directed by women at Warner Bros. serve as thematic companion pieces to each other.

It is what it is. Itβs a bummer but I never expected it to go on forever.
For the record, Iβve canceled @shudder.com. I said a long time ago that theyβd have my money for as long as @therealjoebob123.bsky.social was there and since he wonβt be on a regular basis, Iβm out. Iβll probably resubscribe for the specials but thatβs all Iβm willing to do at this point.
A birdβs eye view of the Frankenstein monster and his bride in an orange dress dancing on a checkered floor
I saw THE BRIDE! a while ago and I canβt wait to see it again.
Itβs not a remake or a reboot. Itβsβ¦ Imagine watching THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN in 1935, then going on an absinthe bender in Greenwich Village. The dream you might have that night is THE BRIDE!
Stop making everything a goddamn moral judgment, especially with art.
It doesnβt seem like itβs ending at all for right now. Specials is how it started. It just seems like it will go back to that.
Shudder has announced that tonight's episode of THE LAST DRIVE-IN will be the SERIES FINALE.
But...
Four all-new specials for The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs will debut quarterly through the end of 2026.
It's Last Drive in night!!! SEASON FINALE! Joe Bob says "Check it out!"

β¦there are the aforementioned specialsβ¦plus the drive-in will never die but even if the show kept going, eventually Joe Bob will pass on, so I donβt really know what people expect. The man is like 73.
Last 4.
2 Frankenstein movies I really enjoyed within the last six months and including Lisa Frankensteinβ¦3 in the last 3 years. What a time to be a fan of Frankenstein.
