So in conclusion - Here in New York City, we don't wallow, we don't blame others, we don't stay in a bubble of self pity. We sweat, we bleed, we struggle, we suffer and endure. We do what we gotta do without explaining shit to pussy motherfuckers. We fight, we survive, and we deal with life.
PSS - I've even gone through enough on the streets to know which homeless person is a con artist, a scammer, an abuser, a user, or a decent person trying to get by.
PS - I slept just fine when I self committed at the psych ward 3 times, you think I never worried about what could have happened to me at night? but hey I knew when to get help and not join any entitled cults that sink into delusions who bully while playing victim. At least I never got arrested.
I don't hide it, I don't mask it, I don't even pretend to be something or someone for acceptance. So many want to lie to themselves and refuse to grow as a person. Every mistake, every pain, every loss & betrayal, I took it all in & it made me who I am. That is something I will never apologize for.
Despite all of that, I did not wallow in any self-pity or any victim mentality like those that want to play the role like they are the movie of the week. It took a long time, but unlike some I know, I was willing to look into the abyss Within Myself. Unlike you I acknowledge my flaws and errors.
