The prominence of shitty Al art at many vendors.
Not a fan of being surrounded by professional prompters who view the creation of art as just some pesky thing that the computer will take care of

Train Collector. I was inspired by an old 50's movie called "Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" (which came out before Godzilla). The only difference is that I added the trains and changed the design of the lizard creature.
Crows. I was challenging myself to paint a scene with overcast skies and subdued shadows. I really enjoyed painting the textures of the clothing and the feathers of the birds. #crows #scarecrow
Sobek. This is my interpretation of the Egyptian deity. Sometimes he is a man with the head of a crocodile; Other times he appears as a large crocodile creature.

Sobek - Egyptian god of the Nile. Pencils/ Digital.
Pistol 'Pede. The red headed centipede is common in parts of Texas and the southwest. I thought it was funny if he had a western vibe to him so I added the cowboy hat, bandolier and the guns.
The actually centipede was modelled in Zbrush and painted over in Corel Painter.
Robots- An older piece. Pencils/Digital. Painted with Corel Painter.
Original drawing was created on two large sheets 20 by 16. The bottom was all experimental shapes. The top layer was on a transparent sheet. Everything was scanned in pieces and composited together.
Baba Yaga - My version of the figurehead from eastern European/Russian folklore. Pencils/Digital. Painted with Corel Painter.
The animal skull on the right is made up but I looked at a lot of animal skulls for reference. I used photos for the other elements and drew everything by hand.
