Being creative is not a choice.
Itβs a way of life.
Iβm loving Futureβs Edge - very striking.
Iβm having an easy day as still very tired from a virus I had at the beginning of the month.
Been to my watercolour class thoughβ¦ and took the easy way out for tea by buying an M&S meal deal. π
Iβm learning to draw and paint. Itβs not natural to me but itβs good to step outside of your comfort zone isnβt it? π€£
Book Club homework. #reading
I always begin with a character, and write them into their world. I figure out what the rules are and the plot usually comes from thatβ¦
Iβm just picking myself up off the floorβ¦ Go you!
What are you currently reading?
How fast do you read?
Iβm pretty slow, I have a massive βto be readβ pile Iβm trying to get throughβ¦ π
π€£ Iβm afraid Iβm guilty as charged and that around these parts we say βsccconeβ #sconepolice
A huge fruit scone served on a chopping board with three tiny butter pats. And a cup of tea in the background .
I ate a huge fruit scone earlier today - it made my tea cup look very small indeed.
I have to say, it was delicious. π
The above images are all taken today on my morning walk along BallyKelly shore.
With Binevenagh mountain in the background and glorious cloudscapes.
Itβs a good day.
Beautiful skyscape of billowing grey white clouds. Rugged green marshland with a stream running through the middle and a solitary bare tree on the bank. BallyKelly shore in Northern Island.
Huge grey boulders in the foreground and billowing grey clouds in a blue sky on a glorious January morning.
Grasses in the foreground, then an old dry stone wall, billowing grey clouds in a pale blue sky. BallyKelly shore in Northern Ireland in January
Ballykelly shoreline in Northern Ireland, shingle beach, dark water and and Binevenagh mountain in the background with a beautiful cloudscape above.
Caved and gave in to the chocolate! #smallpleasures
Mmm, I like reading books written this way - feels so much closer to the character, and the feels more immediate.
Great capture! Thank you for sharing.
Love photography, love art but this disgusts me. This spraying on everything and anything sickens me. I'm so sad it's happening in my favourite place in Spain.
There's a huge difference between graffiti done well, and this 'shite' vandalism.
Unsolicited writing advice, #17171617:
Don't just write. Read books. Watch films. Look at paintings and sculpture. Play games. Go to plays. Listen to music. Think about how these things make you feel.
Making art is a two-way stream. To make art, you have to consume art.
I call it filling my creative well. π
Come along writerly friends, put you thoughts down for the good of us all.

I need to get back in track. #amwriting
Totally agree! I have this on audible as well as in book form. Stephen King is my kinda writer, he makes every character believable.
I love his style.
Yep! Itβs the staying away from politics that makes the difference I believe.
I feel the same. I had many writer friends over there and we had our little groups. Itβs terribly sad.
Facebook is another social that is on my list as itβs got so toxic. Iβm in so many good groups and Iβm loathe to leave so just hanging on by a thread.
- 4 and itβs not shifting.
I like the sound of the heated pad! Iβve got a heated throw for my knees.
Just wow! This is a beautiful scene.
Fab idea! So good for your mental health.
Saturday reading. How minuscule changes can grow into life-altering outcomes.
P.S. The coffee and cake is fuel. π
