I am very very much looking forward to these. It's been so cool thinking of ways to connect with the community and to let the wider world know about our views too.
In Bristol, fancy getting involved? We still have loads of opportunity to help with planning and volunteer on the day - it's a great way to give back or, if you're a cis person unsure how to support trans people, a great place to start!

We're excited to put on workshops - which we'll be announcing the details of very soon - and are grateful to have some external speakers confirmed ππ
Both @sandraduffy.bsky.social & @ulyverse.bsky.social have been putting together a programme all about gender recognition, trans health & more!

An image title 'Trans Pride Bristol 2026 March' and below a screenshot of a google maps with a start on the cenotaph and a star on Bristol's castle park. There are arrows pointing and indicating laying out the march route. Some footer text says 28 March 10:30 More details with an arrow next to it
Another image titled with 'For 2026 TPB have changed the march route' once again with a screenshot outlining what each of the starts to indicate starting and final destination. There is a texbox on the map that says 'march ends at castle park, lower castle st end'. We have arrivals and speeches 10:30 and the march starts 11:15. Please contact us if you have any questions about the march.
Happy Monday, people!
We are officially 8 WEEKS AWAY from Trans Pride Bristol on the 28 March 2026!
We're trying to get better about using bluesky, so this thread is going to talk all about our COMMUNITY DAY.
First up we have our march! We'll be marching from Bristol's Cenotaph to Castle Park!
love this π
A poster which says "Big Summer Social" along with the Trans Pride Bristol logo. There are various waves in different colours surrounding
Hey bluesky, we've been a little quiet on here lately, but busy working to support the trans community across Bristol!
If you are in Bristol this Sunday we're doing our Big Summer Social in @wshed.bsky.social 15:00-18:00
www.transpridebristol.org.uk/events/big-s... You can also bring food!
5. Trans Pride Bristol sends solidarity to you all - for your rage, your sadness and more. People if you are a Bristol trans person feel free to reach out and we can signpost you to the best support.
4. But we will do our best to support you and your loved ones in Bristol, by continuing to advocate for better support across the city, particularly in areas of trans healthcare.
3. Weβll do our best to share the best legal expertise out there as we unfortunately donβt have the legal knowledge to break down the 88 page ruling ourselves.
2. We, as trans people and allies of trans people share these feelings. We feel concerned that this will only exacerbate transmisogynist and transphobic talking points.
This is a complex ruling that will be twisted to unhelpful talking points.
1. Like so many across the Bristol and UK Trans Community, we are saddened by the UK Supreme Court ruling released today. Trans Pride Bristol stands with all trans people across the UK and beyond. We know that this may evoke a lot of fear, rage and sadness.
we are moving over to bluesky finally! we are so excited to share updates about our pride, any events we're putting on and local work on healthcare. if youre from bristol and want to talk to us about anything we're up to please get in touch!
