and since it is especially needed this year, I made a booklist of trans horror authors to seek out and discover (myself included). These are exceptional works of fiction in a variety of formats, so please—take your pick (but do!)

Something is terribly wrong with me and I can’t keep friends, probably due to whatever miasma I seep. The less people who get close to me, even just a tiny bit, the better. I am a poison that slowly infects. I don’t deserve people who care, really. I won’t be here long, either. It’s for the best.

I made a funny comment in a FB group and got a lot of reactions. Someone commented and said they laughed, then scoped out my profile and thinks we should be friends. Then commented a couple mins later saying they can’t find that “send request” button. It’s for the best. I’m not a good person.

I love that there are Bluegrass musicals/shows about cryptids. We definitely need more. I only know of two so far, but I’m sure there are more. We’ve got “Hot Damn! It’s the Loveland Frog!” (Loveland Frogman) and “The Devil & Daisy Dirt” (Jersey Devil).
