Tonight, the Greens stormed to victory with 41% while Labour crashed to an all-time low of 25%.
I really don’t think he will. It could also be a damage is done scenario. They only got about the same total votes as what the majority was last time out, it’s total core collapse
Labour’s *majority* in Gorton and Denton in 2024 – just 19 months ago – was 13,000+. Tonight it got fewer than 10,000 votes total, on an almost identical turnout. In its heartland. That’s what a collapse of your core vote looks like.
all this with Labour trying to ensure a reform win. Thank god for the Greens!
