With Wash? π₯Ί
I never begrudge other people using green; itβs just not going to be for ME. Green away! Green to your heartβs content!
Oh nice! I havenβt made a pair of those in ages - they look great! :)
SIFF Cinema downtown (formerly the Cinerama) is my favorite movie theater. I was so, so excited when SIFF took it over and turned the lights back on after it had been closed. I hope they make it. Sucks that the Egyptian is closed too. I have a lot of movie memories in those places.
I truly did consider it but I just couldnβt! I guess my wild side doesnβt lean that way.
Perfect
I couldnβt take it. Soaked the pieces and have them on the bed. Fingers crossed for the dry air to help me out
Itβs lots of lace (she says, miserably) π’
Are you talking about Well Thereβs Your Problem? I love that podcast - but I only ever listen! I kind of enjoy when someone says βNext slide pleaseβ and then the others say βOhhh noo, oh thatβs badβ or whatever. I just imagine the worst. Itβs fun
Sweater knitting dilemma. I always block, then seam, then do button bands, etc. But Iβm traveling, and I finished my sleeves (much faster than I expected to!). Do I seam and/or knit the button band without blocking? The idea makes me feel twitchy!

My dad worked on that movie!
Oh no Iβm so sorry. Iβm sure you made the best choice you could have.
It wasnβt until I was older that I realized audiences hissing at the screen when bad guys came on wasnβt a universal movie-going experience
I have so many! Pre-tech-boom Seattle in the 70βs-early 80βs, movie audiences were fun and rowdy! The crowd roared when the Death Star blew up; people yelled βGet βim, come on!β during the final fight in Rocky; we danced in the aisles during Stop Making Sense.
lol what
The Atlantic, acting like they know what labor solidarity looks like and scolding the left for not siding with racists. Ha fucking ha
OMG CONGRATULATIONS!
Movie youβve watched more than six times with a gif
Lauren! Go make an appointment right now.
Let me be your shingles vaccine accountability buddy :)
and yes please schedule your shot!
Yeah it sucks a lot. I am lucky I didnβt lose sight in that eye at the time.
I was late getting my shingles shot because I turned 50 in 2020 and we obv didnβt have normal doctor visits at the height of the pandemic. I got shingles in that stretch. Yay :/
Scarring, autocorrect, scarring.
As a person with permanent vision loss from shingles, with scaring on my eye that means I may eventually lose sight on that side entirely, I am here to tell anyone who will listen: get your shingles vaccine as soon as you are eligible!
Yay! Itβs my shop but I have not gotten used to posting over hereβ¦I need to work on that. π¬
Okay, Iβll go. Five animals Iβve seen in the wild:
Moose
Grey whale
Orca whales
Sea turtle
Puffin
The moose was a few feet away. The whales I saw off boats (not whale watching ones); the orcas were a whole pod that went by on all sides of us. Swam with the turtle for a while. Puffins are cute.
No, I never did! Iβm not active enough to have a good circle of random people who will answer my random questions lol
Why is everyone talking about Star Wars today?
When I lived in San Francisco long ago, there was a place around the corner from my flat called Zanteβs that had Indian pizza! Also legit reg NY style pizza (slice and a soda was like, $1.50; I went after class a LOT) *and* good Indian food. I moved almost 30 years ago and I still miss that place.
