uh oh ashiiu's talking about fnaf again,,

the mystery of the franchise is the whole part of the series, and yet the movies dont capture this mystery at ALL. they tell you everything, they give you flashbacks, characters have monologues abt all their pasts and trauma, no one sits and lets the ambience hit them.

...in a game all about that.

the cam should NEVER leave michael afton.

& everything needs to be solely from his eyes only. the story always should have been so, very personal. & so very hidden from average cinema goers. a lone protagonist that knows everything, while you try to keep up with them, wrap your head around it all.

what i mean is, fnaf should pushed for depictions of complete silent misery, loneliness, and pure anguish in helplessness early on. and then swiftly turned up the heat, subsequently, pushing for a psychological scifi thriller, detective/crime feel paired w/ panicked action packed chases.

kids loved fnaf 1-6 because they can get away with watching it. this doesnt NOT mean the original media sacrificed its tone for its audience, that just means the presentation is palatable for a mind that craves the horrific but turns their noses up at the sight of it. (and also cause of markiplier.)

the steven spielberg feel is an interesting angle to hit it at (if done WELL *looks around*), but the vibe rlly needed to be deeply miserable, lynchian, david cronenbergesque, with a dash of the spielberg as a treat or somethin.

my lil brother and i, who are both in college and graduating this year, still throw fnaf movie directing ideas back and forth at each other. we always pictured something very specific (not at all what we got) and i've been seeing others talk abt that lost picture and what it could have been again.

i mean this in the best and worst possible way. i need to see springtrap on that big screen, i need it to piss me off sm cause its being done so damn poorly that i have to stand outside the theatre with a cigarette afterwards. that is what fnaf is at its finest.

i heard a rumor that they are finally hiring other writers for the fnaf 3 movie. if true, this will kill the franchise. if the movie is good in any capacity, the facade between realities will shatter and the bizarre mind lock holding the fandom captive will break.
