Well yes, but even your regular spelling mistakes and grammatical errors tend to share commonalities. Normal mistakes, as it were. But in trance, you're looking for variations even in that - errors that you normally wouldn't make.

There's also a sort of rhythm to entranced responses that follow the rhythm of the induction. Like two person unspoken poetry.

In person trance is usually identified by a slack, peaceful expression, and a "far-away" look to the eyes. There are a lot of variations of course but generally speaking that's a reliable indicator.

Text trance is harder but spelling mistakes and abnormal syntax are usually indicative contextually
